It took awhile to paint the cement floor in the basement, but it really makes a differenceThe aspinite floor that we have used and abused(no need for paint tarp) for the last few month is now gone, replaced with beautiful ceramic tile in the kitchen and bathroom and wood florring in living room and bedrooms. Really starting to look like a house now. Norm (who made the cupboards)and his helper installed the kitchen cupboards, interesting to watch. Spent some time covering all the electrical covers, needing some minor reair work after... FYI make sure the holes you cut out will be cover the covers!! It was fun picking out the lighting for the house, they say that the lighting is one of the main selling features for woman. I recieved a quick lesson from Paul how to install ceil.. ing lights, but it was better to just be the assistant. No need to wonder any longer how one goes to the bathroom on a job site when there is no facilities because we now have a toilet! Yeah! So thought it would be good to have a door, hung our first door and with some assistance installed my first door handle ever. It was a great sence of accomplishment We finished off the week with the door and window trim, will start filling in the nail holes next week.
